This 5 hour photoshoot (11-4pm) will mark the 300th Select Models photo event conducted since 1992, so we're making this a definite event to remember. Will be inviting 30 models and showcasing 8 custom Harley motorcycles, 6 sportcars and 10 limos valued at over 1 million dollars. Photoshoot will be held at a large warehouse facility in Fontana CA. Three MUA's and one hairsylist will be assisting models in looking their best for this event. This is a no nudity event with models wearing sexy clubwear, leather biker outfits, swimsuit and lingerie mix and match. FREE softdrinks & munchies (chips/dip/cookies) for everyone during the shoot, with FREE pizza for everyone at the end of the shoot.

Select Model photoshoots have always been about offering photographers the most 'bang for your buck' during events hosted over the last 17+ years, and to celebrate that credo, photographer signup cost for this shoot will be rolled back to $50... the lowest priced shoot we've hosted in over 10 years. I'll be posting photos of motorcycles, sportcars, limos and models attending this shoot over the next 3 weeks. EVENT DETAILS: Shoot signup time for everyone is 11am, with approximately 1 hour of model makeup, lighting and prop setup. Actual photographs will commence around 12-12:30pm, and continue to 4:15pm. Makeup artist and hairstylist will NOT be available after 2pm. I recommend models bring a small MUA kit for touchups after initial makeup. Brief hairstyling assistance by Jason will be available until 3pm. At 4pm we will be ordering pepperoni and Hawaiian style pizza for everyone, with free drinks from the cooler and ice-chest.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GETTING BEST PHOTOS: Bring a 2-3 step step-ladder and shoot from higher elevations to get more of the car & model (less of other cars, photographers & models) in the background. When shooting Harleys, I recommend posing your model in front of engines, gas tanks & chrome assessories. Also try shooting from low angles (on ground) to eliminate distracting backgrounds.

When it comes to inviting models to this, the 300th anniversary photoshoot, I'll be giving special consideration to models who have loads of photographer fans, and have been faithful to SM events over the years. This young lady (Laura Shodire) owns the record for attending more Select Models photoshoots than any other model in the history of this organization. That's why Laura is the first model confirmed for this shoot. I want to personally thank her for her commitment and devotion to SM events. Take a good look at this terrific models MM port. Few models have participated in SM shoots with such commitment to creating fabulous images as Shalee. Five seconds after this shot of Corrie was taken, she was tumbling down the beach soaking wet after getting hit by a BIG wave (visable behind her in this image)... you're gettin an invite girl. Next 'first time' model confirmed... EV! She's not on MM... a MySpacer with only cell-phone pics... but a terrific young model with lots of potential who will be attending her first SM photoshoot. MySpace for me is ONE HELL of a terrific marketing tool... DONT discount its potential. I have over a 1000 friends on MySpace, many of them different than the friends I have here on MM, with close to 400 modeling images there... including a pic of myself and the 'Queen of Narnia'... lol

Ya it's been a while, back in CA from an awesome 6 month stint in Australia. Got myself some lighting equipment finally, a car (and in turn been finding some great locations! such as this

and can shoot underwater now too!

Just been so busy with good ol college, lack of funds lately it's certainly been keeping me from shooting the amount I'd like to be lately. If the majority of these gals won't be charging for releases then most certainly I'd be able to afford it and make a re-appearance. Save me a spot - I gotta just check my schedule to make sure I can go as I'm having my mom out for Thanksgiving and we're doing it at my bro's place (which I am actually planning to try to do a group shoot at sorry to do a lil thread jack here) as we're finally both living off campus and just gotta make sure we dont have anything planned as a family for that Sunday. I know it will either be the 28th or 29th just can't remember which. Post some shots of this place too as I've got no clue what it looks like.
